The inspiration for this hair wreath is the faeries of neverland. I imagined them using found trinkets and bits of spring and summer blooms to create the crown. Some of the floral picks used are found trinkets themselves, found in thrift shops and garage sales. That makes this crown entirely unique and unable to be exactly replicated. The design isn’t completely symmetrical but does have a nice tidy profile. I used felt covered wire as the base, making it both sturdy but also comfy, able to be bent and shaped to the wearers brow. It’s open at the back with a ribbon tie closure, so it will fit any sized (adult) faeries head. The crown features hydrangea petals in shades of teal blue, pink and green, pieced together around a ring of antique brass flowers with pearls for centers. Sprigs of pearls and leafy beaded branches peek out from between the blooms.
This faerie crown will enjoy a longer life when worn and stored with gentle care, and kept dry. It is one of a kind and ready to ship.
